Trevor Drezen, BS
Mental Health Counseling Intern
Trevor is a dedicated graduate student currently pursuing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. His path into the mental health field has been shaped by a deep curiosity about the human experience—along with personal experiences of trauma and recovery that fuel his empathy and passion for supporting others on their own healing journeys.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Colorado State University. Before pursuing clinical work, Trevor gained experience in both the legal sector and sales. While these roles sharpened his communication and analytical skills, they also made one thing clear: he wanted to do work that directly and meaningfully impacted people’s lives. This realization, combined with his lifelong interest in psychology and personal growth, led him to return to graduate school and pursue a career in counseling.
Trevor believes that life’s challenges can’t always be avoided—but with the right support, we can learn how to ride the waves with greater balance, strength, and self-compassion.
At Sanare, Trevor brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to his internship—grounded in both lived insight and clinical training. He shows up each day with a genuine commitment to service, learning, and human connection.
Outside of work, Trevor is an avid outdoorsman who finds peace and perspective in nature. He enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and playing sports. A devoted soccer fan, he’s always up for a good match or a chat about the latest news in the soccer world.
