Natalie Fischer, MSW, SWc

PSR Therapist

Natalie earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She also completed graduate coursework in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, where she developed a strong person-in-environment perspective that continues to inform her clinical approach.

Early in her academic journey, Natalie gained experience at Blue Sky Bridge, a Boulder-based nonprofit that conducts forensic interviews with children who have experienced abuse. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team sparked her passion for coordinated care and trauma-informed support.

Natalie sees healing as a shared journey—one that unfolds through empathy, mutual trust, deep compassion, and radical acceptance.

Natalie’s clinical experience includes providing offense-specific individual and group therapy at Progressive Therapy Systems, where she supported clients navigating complex behavioral challenges. She later joined Sanare as part of her advanced training year—and quickly became an integral part of the team. After completing her graduate studies, Natalie transitioned into a full-time therapist role at Sanare, where she brings warmth, insight, and a commitment to holistic care.

Her therapeutic style is flexible and strengths-based, guided by each client’s evolving needs. She integrates approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness into her work.

When she’s not at Sanare, Natalie enjoys reading, crocheting, baking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. She’s convinced the secret to happiness is being surrounded by dogs—and we’re not arguing with her.
